MMS deserves Oscar..

My Respected Friend, a very senior Retired Bureaucrat, is in Delhi and so we decide to meet ..... we meet at a Restaurant in Defence Colony known for it Sizzlers and over sizzling food we get chatting.

Respected Friend: MMS ji is a damn good actor ...Oscar material...
Me: Yes Sir ....
RF: Hogwash...what he said ...that the Mallya correspondence was just ordinary correspondence ..
M: I heard a Congi Spokesman say ...that Industry Honchos do write letters seeking PM's intervention ...and PM ....IF INTERVENTION IS JUSTIFIED ....marks the Letter accordingly .. here Mallya was asking for 'wrong' intervention...
RF: MMS was the PM...PC was the FM and both were aware of Mallya's Financial condition...and what he was asking for was against Banking norms...and why depute TKA Nair in the PMO...was it to give credibility to Mallya's wrong demands...
M: And this very MMS termed the Demonetisation as loot ...
RF: Such blatant flouting of norms ...and Congress has just one defence ..BJP let Mallya flee ...how difficult it would have been for him to get help to hoodwink Immigration...it must have been connivance at the 'working level' or could also have been a genuine mistake by an Official..
M: But they say he checked in an inordinately large number of luggage pieces ..
RF: When you fly out the Immigration Officer stamping your Passport does not know how many bags you've checked in ..and could be the Baggage would have been checked in by someone...I hear some Lady...accompanying him!!!
M: Maybe they need to make this info available to the Immigration Officers......Customs and Immigration are two different Organizations ...
RF: So what's the elections news..the other day saw Amrinder give a short interview on TV... and I must say he looks totally 'deflated'...
M: They know the ground reality ...and then no Leader is comfortable with Rahul at the helm of Congress ..
RF: Take Raj Babbar...he feels he scores Brownie Points with Rahul by being over aggressive on Modi and BJP...he should realise .....just aggression without answering the question marks on Congress is not appreciated by the Electorate ...and more so when today in UP Modi is preferred by UPites as PM in comparison to other Leaders.. Rahul on the other hand does miserably ....
M: Yup Babbar types are in the 'Baunka' or habituated to barking (nationally) category...
RF: As of today BJP is way ahead in UP..Goa...UK... in Punjab if AD is able to hold AAP in Malwa ...AD+BJP emerge victorious ...
M: If Amrinder looks (Passt - crestfallen) then Kejri looks like he's seeing defeat and that's why he's so angry ...he just called Media ..Dalals!!
RF: He's himself has run his Party into the ground ...have you seen in US Presstitutes and Liberals behaving just like the ones we have here ....
M: Very soon they'll be an Award Wapsi there too ...
RF: All that Trump's done .... mandated that for 90 days US will relook at its Immigration Laws and Vetting ...it's needed..and till then stop immigration from Terror hotbeds...it's fair...
M: Liberals mindset is ...let's wait for the Terrorists to get a foothold in US and then we will react ..Trump says why wait for that day when the writing on the wall has been there for sometime ...chalo let's move out ..have to pick up some stuff ...my chance.....joke ...there's a pic of Rahul ducking desperately to avoid overhead illegal power cables ...Aki doesn't look so desperate...in fact he laughed at Rahul's reaction and said...Rahul ji ..don't worry ..no power...this is UP... power for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening ......it's now 2 PM.....

DEBATE

How do you see the two most powerful leaders of the World - Donald Trump and Narendra Modi ?

Some people see Donald Trump as Narendra Modi of the USA. Like Modi in 2014, they say, Trump touched the raw nerve of the US citizens in 2016 to win a decisive victory.

If Modi, with his magnetic electoral campaign, won an absolute majority for his party for the first time in 2014, Trump also staged a spectacular campaign to win the top job for himself.

How do you (surfers of whispersinthecorridors.com) see the two most powerful leaders of the World ?

Dissimilarities between Modi and Trump

There are many dissimilarities between Modi and Trump. They are:-

1. Modi had a very humble beginning being son of a chaiwala who ussed to make and serve tea and lived in very very modest means, whereas Trump comes from a stinkingly rich bckground and is hiself a trillionaire and is a real estate king.
2. Modi had given up his family life under the RSS ideology, whereas Trump lives with his family in regal style with his third wife and other members.
3. Trump has a weakness for the fair sex and many video clippings hve been doing the rounds on social media. He had affairs with many beautiful women and models whereas Modi has led a life of a puritan . He has even distanced himself from his living wife Even his mother lives separately and he is the sole occupant of P M house. .
4. Modi's election campaign hovered round such slogans s " Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas" and "Ek Bharat,Shrestha Bharat" As against this, Trump's campaign was divisive and parochial and thoroughly controversial.
5. Their lifestyle is very different. Trump is lavish and flamboyant and has even appeared in some TV serials and films, Modi has never indulged in such. He is simple and devotes himself to his work .
6 . Modi has a long political bsckground and creer having been C. M. Gujerat for three terms. Trump has no political career He has catapulted hiself straight at the Federal Lvel and has succeeded in that.

The biggest portion of expenditure of unaccounted income is on fuel such as petrol and diesel. It is therefore suggested that all expenditure on this count should be through online mode and reflected in the individual's PAN and after crossing certain limited should be taxed.

I agree completely with Mr Garg and Mr Gopal regarding the functioning of PESB and the vacancies in PSUs. It looks that PESB has becoming a sleeping elephant for quite some time..

Bhansali and Rani Padmini

While our pseudo-secularists and leftist intellectuals (leftist intellectual is actually an oxymoron) cry hoarse on Salaman Rashdie, Taslima Nasrin, their books and statements, none of them appears to be bothered about the artists looking to make a quick buck compromising Indian culture, its deities and religious beliefs. Not long ago a world famous Indian painter whose art went for crores could not resist the temptation of distorting and sexualising images of Indian Goddesses in the "name of secular money making". When there were protests he ran away from this country to escape public wrath. Our secularists were in arms blaming our nation for hounding him out though he went out willingly. UPA government should have arrested him for hurting religious feelings. He would not have lived even for a day if he had dared to paint the portrait of his religious prophet or his wife.
As Islamic fundamentalism reacts itself with knives, bullets and bombs for any even seemed affront to their religious icons, Hindus have also started flexing their muscles to resist the commercial money making by artists distorting Indian history, values and ridiculing its religious, historical and national icons.

Rani Padmini (Padmavathi) is a Rajput icon who lived seven hundred years ago. When Allauddin Khilji the lascivious Turkish Sultan of Delhi attacked and conquered Chittor , tens of thousands of women including Rani Padmini committed Jauhar. They preferred self-immolation rather than falling into the hands of the marauders. This is the historical fact. Now Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a money making Bollywood director who got away from historical distortions in his movie Bajirao Mastan, want to shoot a film on Rani that also in Chittor fort romanticising the history of Rani Padmini, depicting her to be in love with Khilji. According to a report in the Indian Express, it is alleged by Rajput protesters that Bhansali has deliberately added a dream sequence in his movie which shows Khilji embracing and kissing Padmini, which is an affront to the honour and name of the Rani. It is also a slur on the valour of thousands of Hindu Veeranganas who preferred to die by fire rather than submit to the lust of barbaric invaders. No wonder Rajputs are in arms. Unfortunately there are people who even can sell their mothers or even distort their nation's history and culture for some quick bucks. Artistic freedom does not mean freedom to twist nation's cultural history or hurt religious beliefs, many of which whether Hindu, Muslim or Christian, are not supported by historical facts.

Why no one is interested to join ?

But the moot question is "why no one is interested to join even such a prestigious post in NHRC"? Firstly we the people of this country would like an answer to this question. Is there any kind of nepotism/corruption or harassment in the organisation or some other valid reason? Why.....why nobody is interested? Can anyone answer ?

DATE WITH RTI

Filing of RTI Application to know the fate of earlier application

An application was under the RTI Act seeking information regarding action taken on an earlier RTI application and first appeal filed by the Complainant. A reply was sent to him on but the Complainant stated that he did not receive this reply. The Respondents volunteered to send another copy to him. While noting that no further action is due on this RTI application, the CIC observed that the right course of action for an RTI applicant, in the event of the PIO not responding to his RTI application, is to file an appeal to the First Appellate Authority and thereafter, if necessary, an appeal / complaint to the Commission. Instead, the Complainant took upon himself to enquire into the delay on the part of the Respondents in responding to his earlier RTI application by filing yet another RTI application. Filing of such applications is avoidable because the RTI Act provides for appeals / complaint process in the event of unsatisfactory action by Respondents on an RTI application. Such applications needlessly clog the system.

Comments

RTI act is a self contained act which provides for the mechanism to deal with cases where replies have not been received. An applicant should use the modalities provided under the Act which can provide him the best results.
