POLITICS
This is History (583)
If you want to start journey of one thousand miles, begin with a single
step-if long jump then fracture is inevitable.
Uncertainty looms large over 'one man show' in Indian Politics
Like Family politics, uncertainty also looms large over 'one man show'
in Indian Politics simply because they have not allowed second line
of leadership to grow in their respective parties. These include parties
of Late Jayalalitha, Naveen Patnaik, Mayawati and Mamta Banerji to name
a few.
Saffronisation across the country

except Kerala and Tripura, would be saffronised.

Holy Cow
On my way back from Naldera I stop at Shimla to meet my Respected
Friend, Retired Senior Bureaucrat. We walk down to a Lower Bazar eatery
that specialises in Samosas and Jalebis. Over these and tea we get chatting.
Respected Friend: (after taking a note of a samosa).. If Kejri's
samosa tea bill was because he got his samosas from here I don't blame
him...ha ha....1 crore on Chai Samosas ....either 5 Star Samosas ..
or practically every Delhite has been served Somosas and Tea..
M: And what about the Five Star Buffets...I think if it's the Buffet
at Taj, Mumbai....I would not blame him...the spread and the price ...justify
one another!! Bill for lunch on February 11, 2017 was Rs. 6,23,605 and
the cost per plate was Rs. 12,472 and price of same plate Rs. 16,025
for the lunch organised very next day...arranged by DTTDC...Aam Aadmi
Party sure does party in style...
RF: But I was surprised at Sisodia's reaction... he says when he came
to know about the exorbitant cost later he withheld payment ...so he's
trying to pass the blame to an Official... if the Official did it on
his own there must have been precedences of Lavish Buffets during Shiela
Dixit's stint...just like that no one would requisition DTTDC to arrange
such lavish Buffets . And why withhold DTTDC's Invoice ...or is it as
per Kejri's philosophy ...sabh mille hooe hai..
its all just a drama...
M: Order a lavish spread ..entertain ...and then don't pay ...and DTTDC
that was ' the host' in this case would not have the guts to even say
'oof'!! Can DTTDC afford to question CM Office....
RF: These AAP Jokers think they can make an Oaf of us..
M: The list of their spendthriftness is long...salary hikes ..study
tours....chai samosa.. buffets ...ad spend...
RF: Well Kejri's going to get one electoral reprimand and one electoral
shock ..AAP going to lose both RajouriGarden and MCD...
M: Yogi's got everyone on their toes in UP...
RF: It all depends on the Boss...if he's aaj ka kaam kall karro ...then
all slow down...if the Boss means business ...all are on their toes.....work
culture percolates from the top..
M: Why did Tarun Vijay have to make a comment that is being termed as
Racist...
RF: I think what he meant to say was India is Multi Ethnic ...Multi
Coloured ....but we all live together ...work together...I think he
took a short- cut ...but having said this ....Indians generally do have
a Gora complex.. .otherwise Fair and Lovely would not have such a huge
market ...but this Gora complex is hush-hush...
M: And you have Jamai Raja too jumping in to criticize Tarun Vijay for
his faux-pas..
RF: He should be careful his Saala is The King of Faux-Pas...chalo let's
go...
M: I'll do the honours . ..but not a joke ...reality ..Katju says an
Animal cannot be Holy ....ask him why do they address someone who is
treated specially as Holy Cow.. wasn't Sonia the Holy Cow during UPA
days.. .

Snub them !
It is indeed funny that Congress with only 44 Lok Sabha seats and only
some small states with them , should make bold to say whom they want
as President. The BJP should really snub Congress, Leftists, TMC and
others and show them their place. The people have given solid mandate
to BJP, and will continue with it .However it is now for BJP to take
strong action against terrorists, anti nationals, and corrupt politicians
and bureaucrats, howsoever powerful they may be, lest they lose the
trust of the people. They should remember the past, when Rajiv Gandhi
lost the trust in less than two years and continued as lame duck PM,
and VP Singh lost the goodwill in less than 10 months. We want the BJP
under PM Modi to continue to rule with an iron hand for crooks of all
types including bank defaulters, and development for all, without appeasement,
which has been the hallmark of previous governments. Long rule BJP and
Modi !
S. Chatterjee, Former secretary to Govt of India
This is no apology
This is no apology from this boorish M.P Ravindera Gaikwad. He has simply
regretted the incident in his letter to the Civil Aviation Minister.
He owes an apology to Air India Crew specially the staff member he beat
with his chappals. What happened in Parliament the other day is also
shameful. Instead of criticizing the Member for his misbehaviour, other
members specially his party colleagues came to his defence and created
a ruckus even manhandling the minister. More regretful is Speaker's
stand. I had great respect for Madam Sumitra Mahajan. Her remarks that
there should not be any ban on air travel of an M.P really put me off.
Why not madam, if the M.P creates nuisance and is dangerous to the safety
of other passengers and the crew. Actually he should have been suspended
for his shameful behaviour which brought disrepute to the house of which
he is a member. It is regrettable that these 'servants' of people behave
like lords once they are elected and get away with any crime. The lifting
of ban on him has been ordered under pressure which is really regrettable.
