No unanimous election for President of India
This is almost certain that there will be an election for the President
of India. This is evident from the fact that the Congress has said that
it would not accept any person having RSS ideology. President Pranab
Mukherjee's present term in office will end on July 24.
Who's responsible for Akhilesh's downfall ?
Ask anyone in UP that what lead to the downfall of Akhilesh Yadav who
did a lot of work in the state despite several hurdles and the political
pundits say in unison that both Shivpal and Ramgopal were responsible
for the Samajwadi Party's crushing defeat. Had there been no family
feud, Akhilesh would have fared much better and , no surprise, would
have formed the government for the second consecutive term.
SP, BSP to face mass exodus
There is going to be a mass exodus from the Samajwadi Party and the
Bahujan Samaj Party, if one was to go by the assessment of the political
observers who feel that everone likes to go with power.

Bhagwa ki baari...
On a surprisingly very pleasant afternoon I go for an extended walk
around CP. As is customary I stop at my favourite Shoe Shine ..first
pick up a Cappuccino from the Takeway Joint just opposite the Shoe Shine.
Shoe Shine: Sir ji kya jhakaas mausam hai....UP mein humm aise mausam
mein Kachori aur Chai ka anand lethe hai.
Me: A week back you had told me you are going to your village in UP...what
is the situation there ...
SS: Chaka- Chak...humaare Yogi ji kamaal karr rahe hai.. Romeo ...Gundo....Gau
Jalaad...sabh ki shaamat!!
M: Romeo...was the situation that bad...
SS: 3 categories ....one were Rozaana Romeos who pass comments and the
second who gave dhakaas...both had taken epidemic proportions...third
were the worst kind ...who would rape..... during SP Raaj yeh sabh Sher
bann gaye theh...you remember what Mulayam had said ...Boys will be
Boys...would he have said this if someone had done dushkaram with his
Bahu Beti..
Gundo ka bhi band bajj raha hai..
M: Gau Jalaads...
SS: Sir ji ...jidhar dekho there was some work associated to slaughtered
cows...all illegal ....Meat...Horns...Hoofs ...Bones ...Hides ...arre
these Jalaads used to throw Cows into boiling water as the Skin was
easily retrieved ...
M: But Muslims eat Beef ...its the cheapest Meat available ..
SS: Let them eat Buffalo Meat ...its cheaper...why Cow meat ....SP and
BSP rule they took perverse pleasure in slaughtering and eating Cow
Meat....
M: And eating Cow Meat is not a religious requirement for them ....if
they have to do Zabaa...there are Buffaloes...Sheep...Goats....
SS: Limitless and Shameless appeasement ....rest of Hindus were made
to feel as if we were a useless burden in the State....UP was either
for Muslims or Yadavs....
M: What about Vande Matram and Yoga....
SS: My kid studies in a school in Delhi...in the morning they have to
sing the National Anthem....and they have a class ...what do they call
it ...PT or something...in which they do exercises ...so what is new
that's being done in UP...by singing Vande Matram or doing Yoga you
don't become a Hindu ...
M: You show you are an Indian.... Mullahs have issues with anything
that is not Islamic ...
SS: When they can accept and do Doctor waali exercises (Physiotherapy)
which is not Islamic in any way ...why not Yoga....and one thing more.....Yogi
ji is working from dawn to way past midnight ...for whom...for UP and
UPites....they are included ....so what if he wears Bhagwa....in 5 years
this very lot will say...Dosto ne humme buss lollipop thamaaye...jisse
humm Dushman samajhthe theh uss ne humaari zindagi mein mitthaas ghol
dee....

'VIP Racism'
Watched Ravindra Gaikwad's speech in Lok Sabha channel during Zero hour
proceedings.
Din and noise forced frequent adjournments.
Threatening gestures by Shiv Sena MPs was reprehensible.
Remorseless VIP seems to be on weak wickets. No apology, no regrets.
Let the Law take its course and establish the truth. The court alone
can decide on quashing the FIR or book the accused.
Dadagiri on Civil servants may invite a backlash.
Let Delhi police continue its investigation on the basis of FIR. Why
was MP not arrested by DP after registering FIR. This is baffling ?
Will the accused agree to undergo Narco-analysis test to facilitate
investigation?

Grievance redressal is beyond the purview of RTI Act
The Complainant submitted that vide his RTI application, he had
sought details of the action taken on his earlier representations
regarding granting him temporary status, etc. It was also submitted
that he had sought the attendance details of other daily wage
earners which was not provided to him. In reply, the Respondent
(Delhi) submitted that information regarding attendance of Casual
Labours was related to Field Department, Meerut and hence the
application was transferred to Meerut vide letter of April, 2013.
The Respondent (Meerut) submitted that all available information
was provided to the Appellant. The Complainant submitted that
in essence his RTI application related to the grievance of granting
him a temporary status as opposed to other junior employees. The
Commission observed that under the provisions of the RTI Act,
2005, only such information as is available and existing and held
by the public authority or is under control of the public authority
can be provided. The PIO is not supposed to create information
that is not a part of the record. He is also not required to interpret
information or furnish replies to hypothetical questions. Similarly,
redressal of grievance, reasons for non-compliance of rules/contesting
the actions of the respondent public authority are outside the
purview of the Act.

It is often seen that the CIC is approached for redressal of his
grievance. Everyone must realise that RTI is the forum for obtaining
information and that armed with the necessary Page information,
an individual may approach the appropriate authority for further
necessary action.
