Khoda pahaad nikla chooha

I'm still in Shimla and today my Respected Friend, a retired Senior Bureaucrat, and me ...we meet at Balji's and over Spicy Channas and dripping Bhaturas and Sweet and Salted Fresh Lime Sodas ...we get chatting ..

Me: Sir if you were the TN Guv what would you have done ..
Respected Friend: Well ...after what all has taken place ..Amma's death, the power struggle and hiving off MLAs to a Resort...I'd have given a two month cooling off period and advised for President's Rule ..after all the Guv would have got reports of the groundswell against Chinamma and the obvious disconnect between MLAs and the Voters...
M: What's Swamy's role in all this..
RF: He's a jolly good fellow ...no more!!
M: Seems Amma was his target ..Chinamma ..collateral damage .....what a change in fortunes of Chinamma...
RF: I think she thumped Jaya's grave thrice to say...I'm facing the music alone...are you listening ..now in jail her new role models will be ...Sanjay Parole Dutt and Laloo Bail Yadav..but that 1500/ month will be very dear to her ...more than her entire wealth...
M: In Maharashtra matters are hotting up..
RF: It's like a State Election..though only a Municipal election ...as BJP and Sena fighting separately there's going to be aggressiveness towards each other ....
M: Your prediction ... I even hear in a district Sena allying with Congress ...
RF: Two desparodos if you ask me ....somewhat like in UP......too early to predict outcome ..but see ...our Country is perennially in election mode ..and every election is a referendum if the Ruling Party (Centre) loses.... such a waste of time ...money and such a huge distraction!
M: I met an AAPian the other day ...and I asked him when is Kejri returning to Delhi..he said the day you hear roars from him...another friend quipped ...or when the nonsense starts ...
RF: I just read in a Newspaper ..City Edition...that a AAP candidate is complaining about the presence of a rat in the EVM Strong Room...
M: AAPians still worried that Sukhbir could pull off some trick..maybe this guy feels the Rat is a robotic one and is remote controlled ...to fiddle with EVMs...
RF: Servile Congis would be congratulating RaGa on launch of 104 satellites ...after all he's the one who came up with escape velocity...
M: How many Scientists from ISRO have been awarded with National Awards ...it's really pathetic ...that actors can be awarded ...but not Scientists ....(Reading a WhatsApp alert on my mobile) ...Guv has appointed Paliniswami as CM and given him 15 days to prove majority...
RF: So he will keep the carrot of appointments hanging till then ....in fact try to hold Vote of Confidence ASAP ....May even keep them in Resort till the Vote of Confidence ....I think political instability is here to stay in TN.. 4.5 years to go...and the Charisma glue that bonded them is gone ...chalo let's move out ...got to Shop for some essentials ...you do the honours ...joke ..
M: Didi to her Secretary : Launch...
Secretary: Madam too early for lunch ....Didi (angrily) : Launch ho gaya..Secretary: Kya....Didi (angrily cutting him off) : PSLV with 14 Satellites..useless fellow ....Secretary to himself : Seems Demo has driven her off the rocker... she's renamed her staple lunch... Tea and biscuits...104 biscuits .....Oree Baba...

DEBATE (1)

Modi loves India. Trump does not. The latter because he want's to finish his country by trying to run it with mediocres.

Thankless China

On one hand China is going on supporting Pakistan on all fronts and on the other hand in the spirit of "Atethee Deva Bhava" Indian is going on extending 'red floor carpet to China'. When the Chinese PM had come to attend the BRICS summit at Goa, the Indian Government extended all hospitality including five star accommodation, food, gifts etc. On the other hand, when Narendra Modi had gone to China for attending the G-20 summit at Yangzhou, the Chinese authorities had charged 3500 US $ for the Hotel accommodation.

"Manmohan Singh lacks gravitas, pietas, dignitas, virtus"

Former PM terming demonetization as "organised looting and legalised plunder", was in extremely bad taste.

On the contrary, PM Modi's over- modest retort in his " raincoat" barb to MMS was disproportionately weak, though it reflected the ground reality.

MMS betrayed desperation, frustration and pre-disposition towards political harakiri ? The Congress loose cannons merit utmost condemnation for making sinister accusations against PM Modi.

I distinctly recall a Parliamentary debate over an year back, when MMS had the impertinence of presenting Sushma Swaraj a couplet of Allama Iqbal :
" Mana ki tere deed ke kaabil nahin hoon main ;
Tu mera shauk toh dekh, mera intezar toh kar ".
This was considered highly mysogynistic and derogatory. Did this behove a pseudo- intellectual like Manmohan Singh? A typical cut and paste speech.
Sushma Swaraj retorted back :
"Na idhar udhar ki tu baat kar, yeh bata ki kafila kyon luta; hamen rahjano se gila nahin, teri rahbari ka sawal hai…"

THINK TANK

1. BJP and Congress are the biggest party in centre. Congress is in minority.
2. As it is they support other parties like UPA and NDA and form Government for ruling.
3. Now when comparing with TRUMP comes, Now the time has come to have only two parties.
4. To start with forgetting past all in opposition should be one , under Congress with one voice with no conflict .
Tamil Nadu episode is burning example and opposition should start a trial .
5. Politics was up to contesting as all have won on the basis of showing Day Dreaming which is never going to be true.
6. Now no more Day Dreaming politics Since now it is time for the citizen and identity of Nation is by having happy citizen and this is actually thinking for Nation which is missing.
7. Citizen are loaded with Taxes and penalties. Government should not work for these and ways. If there is short fall, they are educated, they can add profits and meet the short fall.
