Meeting to select CBI Chief today ?
Formal meeting to select new CBI chief is taking place at 6 pm today. The Committee is headed by Prime Minister Modi and Chief Justice of India Justice J S Khehar and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge are the members. It is said that new Director will be selected from the panel which has seven names. These names belong to 1979 to 1982 batches IPS officers including two women officers. Whether one will make it or not ?

I think it will be for the post of Chairman. Recently Tea Board Bye Laws were amended and all the powers of Chairman given to Deputy Chairman who will be officer of the level of Joint Secretary, Govt of India and act as CEO of Tea Board.
