Me: Thaiya ji Sidhu says he wanted to go to the Party that would do a lot for Punjab ..
Uncle: Jhoota No. 1.... he tried to get a Ministerial berth when he was with BJP ...they refused him knowing his mental bankruptcy ...then he tried AAP and thought he'd be the CM face ...they offered him Deputy CM ...now he's in Congress ....the locals say ...Pataa nahi Budhu ne Sidhu noo koun se sabz baagh dikaaye hann...
M: They say the real Politician in the family is his wife ...also Najyot.....
U: She s Doctor ...she's got brains ... unlike Sidhu whose more of a ... in fact his Dad kept his name Sherry because when he got the news of Sidhu's birth he was sipping Sherry ...that's what Patialaites say ..
M: So now Santa Banta jokes will be replaced by Sidhu Budhu jokes ...like Budhu asks Sidhu ... I heard you once equated me to a Dimwit. ..Sidhu .... Joh mashoor hotha hai uss ki khilli logh udaathe hai ...yeh sabh hawaa mein baathe hai ...Rahul Giri Tokko Thaali...
U: People here say that Rahul is hell bent on short - circuiting Amrinder's claim to become CM ....he would not mind a titular head and then accommodate all his flunkies in Vital Cabinet Berths...Bajwa etc....
M: Amrinder is trying to get Public emotional by saying this election is his Swan Song ...
U: Firr teh Badal sher hai ...he's 90+ and he's still fighting and not resorting to emotional tricks ... but let me tell you ...AD+BJP have done a lot of work in Punjab...Badh se Badnaam boora...AAP and Congress have succeeded to some extent in making AD+BJP infamous ...
M: You have land in UP... I recall a few acres were acquired here and you bought many times more land in UP... what is the news there ..
U: Son will ally with Congress ..he will be face of development ...not be shamelessly pro Muslim .......Papa ...will go alone ..stick to old MY formula ...he will keep the old Samajwaad flag flying ...and be shamelessly pro Muslim ...post elections ....Son will makeup with Papa...
M: And Amar will be made the Villain. ... drama ...and if they come to power will continue to be behind the scene a Power Centre ...
U: But this Rahul fellow is such a novice ...imagine showing Public a torn pocket while decrying Modi's suit ....arre we know the Overseas Jaunts he takes ...we know his lifestyle ...eh assal wich saadha Paagal nahi banaanda ....he comes out as one...
M: But his Chamchas go gaga ..
U: Mainoo teh lagdaa hai they are his real enemies ... such advice ta siraf ek Dushman hee deh sakdaa hai ...
M: On the Khadi controversy ...made by Congress ...why does it forget in 1984 the Khadi Calendar ....the cover page did not have the Mahatma's photo ...on the second page it had Indhra's photo ...
U: Congress da mindset ...assi joh keeta sabh maaf... that's why Congress ka ho reha hai soopda saaf ...

DEBATE

How do you see the two most powerful leaders of the World - Donald Trump and Narendra Modi ?

Some people see Donald Trump as Narendra Modi of the USA. Like Modi in 2014, they say, Trump touched the raw nerve of the US citizens in 2016 to win a decisive victory.

If Modi, with his magnetic electoral campaign, won an absolute majority for his party for the first time in 2014, Trump also staged a spectacular campaign to win the top job for himself.

How do you (surfers of whispersinthecorridors.com) see the two most powerful leaders of the World ?

It was a fraud on the Constitution Of India ?

Issuing certificate of "incorruptibility" is showing generosity unlimited. Corruption is not restricted to bribery or moral turpitude. It also covers greed for power, office, prestige or fame. If one sells his soul or kills conscience only to get an office and is prepared to barter away public interest totally, he does not qualify for the honour of incorruptibility. Imagine Dr. B. R. Ambedkar being made a similar office and his response thereto. Invariably all cabinet notes were first sent to the NAC (informally!) before being forwarded to the Cabinet/PMO. In the process suggestions (?) of the NAC were duly incorporated in the note. By the way, who was sending typed notes to the ministers for them to just put their signature wasting the space on the previous page in violation of orders of the government not to do so? It may also be mentioned that many persons had begged the British before independence for the title of Prince/Raja/Nawab without anything else.

Do some honest analysis !

It is intriguing too see so called eminent economists like MM Singh and Amartya Sen criticising the BJP government and the PM in particular. It is probably the height of their frustration at having been demonstrated not only as thoroughly incompetent , but also dishonest. They must be ruing the fact that in their bid to fool the people, they could not achieve anything substantial during their rule. Propriety and honesty demands that at least they should do some honest analysis of the present government and make good suggestions if possible, instead of making negative comments only to satisfy their bosses. Well, the people of the country are a little more intelligent. I suppose, than what they take them to be.

Information about death of son in Hostel

A 2nd semester M.Sc. student reportedly committed suicide during the academic year 2014-15. His father sought certain information about the enquiry into the tragic event. The CIC observed that spending Rs 35/- for speed post to seek Rs 10/- is a reckless act and wastage of public money without application of mind. The CIC opined that the University has a moral & legal responsibility to provide complete information to the father whose son has left to heavenly abode in mysterious circumstances. The CIC granted a compensation of Rs. 5,000/-to the appellant for harassment caused to him for not providing complete information regarding the whereabouts about his son’s death. The CIC issued show-cause notice to the PIO why maximum penalty should not be imposed on him for this kind of inhumane treatment to the appellant by not providing the complete information. The CIC further recommended to the respondent authority to expedite the enquiry and provide the copy of the report to the appellant besides initiating necessary steps to prevent such tragic happenings in the University.

Comments

A PIO should adopt a liberal approach in favour of disclosure and take judicious decisions. Sending a letter to the applicant to seek Rs 10/- by a process which itself costs more than three times the amount sought speaks poorly about the acumen of the Officer concerned.
