POLITICS

This is History (497)

It is said that like the fire which purifies precious metals, war purifies and strengthens indolent nations, grown soft and corrupt by too much ease and love of living.

What a timing ?

DEBATE

How do you see the two most powerful leaders of the World - Donald Trump and Narendra Modi ?

Some people see Donald Trump as Narendra Modi of the USA. Like Modi in 2014, they say, Trump touched the raw nerve of the US citizens in 2016 to win a decisive victory.

DEBATE (1)

Major difference between Mr. Modi and Trump is he has noone from his family or near and dear one close to beneficiary of power, and it is his greatest strength whereas trump can never live up to that. Mr. Modi is living his personal life of a saint, these are some of his strengths which no one in present day world will come closer.

DEBATE (2)

The only similarity between Hon'ble Trump and modi are (i) both use people like toilet paper and throw them when purpose is served (ii) Both have autocratic style too.

Noble Lauerate Amartya Sen should mind his own business

We respect Noble Lauerate Amartya Sen for scholarship and acumen. But he should remember that he left for abroad for self advancement ambitions with no qualms about deserting the mother-in-law when it was growing up and when it needed all the brains. Therefore Sen should now understand that he is not a citizen of the country and he does not have any business to comment on our internal officers nor does he have any business to preach the outdated and long dead leaks for which hardly a few people care or subscribe.

Think it over

1. RSS Chief Bhagwat talked about Unity in Hindu. It is good. He should have talked about Ayodhya Templerebuilding at once which would have been real Hindu unity.
3. Supreme Court said no election campaign by caste. Then why reservations every where in govt jobs, promotion, admissions etc. Everything should be removed.
5. Once Gujar movement, Kisan movement and Patidar , student (Kanahiya) movement starts, all jails would be less as you would require for 125 cr people except the rulers.
6. Think for education, employment and do not impose so many restrictions by taxing as by this revenue collection is less and Government own establishment expenses is more therefore unfruitful.
7.It is very easy to impose tax but very difficult to earn. Government have tried many business in past but failed miserably .Then how an individual can earn ?.
8. Thinking has to be changed as times have changed.
9.You are unaware , Only due to high population world is misusing us and pushing us towards mobile usage, digitisation and what not. They are shifting us from productivity to record maintaining and again adding.

Information about death of son in Hostel

A 2nd semester M.Sc. student reportedly committed suicide during the academic year 2014-15. His father sought certain information about the enquiry into the tragic event. The CIC observed that spending Rs 35/- for speed post to seek Rs 10/- is a reckless act and wastage of public money without application of mind. The CIC opined that the University has a moral & legal responsibility to provide complete information to the father whose son has left to heavenly abode in mysterious circumstances. The CIC granted a compensation of Rs. 5,000/-to the appellant for harassment caused to him for not providing complete information regarding the whereabouts about his son’s death. The CIC issued show-cause notice to the PIO why maximum penalty should not be imposed on him for this kind of inhumane treatment to the appellant by not providing the complete information. The CIC further recommended to the respondent authority to expedite the enquiry and provide the copy of the report to the appellant besides initiating necessary steps to prevent such tragic happenings in the University.

Comments

A PIO should adopt a liberal approach in favour of disclosure and take judicious decisions. Sending a letter to the applicant to seek Rs 10/- by a process which itself costs more than three times the amount sought speaks poorly about the acumen of the Officer concerned.
