As soon as the war began, the governments of various countries made
it the excuse for supressing truth and spreading all manner of lies.
Parrikar not to return to Goa as CM ?
Manohar Parrikar is not returning to Goa as Chief Minister. This is
evident from the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi heaped praises
on Manohar Parrikar, in a meeting in Goa, saying he was thankful to
Goa for giving 'such a strong' Defence Minister.
Delhi is your's UP is mine !
"Jugalbandi" of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav is an indication
of the things to come. Understanding is - Akhilesh Yadav will support
Rahul Gandhi in becoming PM and Gandhi will help Yadav in becoming CM

With whom Bureaucrats are in Uttar Pradesh ? People say 50 per cent

How do you see the two most powerful leaders of
the World - Donald Trump and Narendra Modi ?
Some people see Donald Trump as Narendra Modi
of the USA. Like Modi in 2014, they say, Trump touched the raw nerve
of the US citizens in 2016 to win a decisive victory.
If Modi, with his magnetic electoral campaign,
won an absolute majority for his party for the first time in 2014, Trump
also staged a spectacular campaign to win the top job for himself.

Will Modi overcome the tag of a TAX -terrorist ?
If the finance minister really raises IT exemption limit, it will help
Modi overcome the tag of a TAX -terrorist as the middle class sees him
only targeting them rather than look for Switzerland or well known offenders
like Mallya or Lalit Modi. Unfortunately, UP and Punjab elections too
are knocking at the doors where the tax terrorism has already created
substantial ill -feelings in the traditional BJP vote bank.

Filing of RTI Application to know the fate of earlier application
An application was under the RTI Act seeking information regarding
action taken on an earlier RTI application and first appeal filed
by the Complainant. A reply was sent to him on but the Complainant
stated that he did not receive this reply. The Respondents volunteered
to send another copy to him. While noting that no further action
is due on this RTI application, the CIC observed that the right
course of action for an RTI applicant, in the event of the PIO
not responding to his RTI application, is to file an appeal to
the First Appellate Authority and thereafter, if necessary, an
appeal / complaint to the Commission. Instead, the Complainant
took upon himself to enquire into the delay on the part of the
Respondents in responding to his earlier RTI application by filing
yet another RTI application. Filing of such applications is avoidable
because the RTI Act provides for appeals / complaint process in
the event of unsatisfactory action by Respondents on an RTI application.
Such applications needlessly clog the system.
Comments
RTI act is a self contained act which provides for the mechanism
to deal with cases where replies have not been received. An applicant
should use the modalities provided under the Act which can provide
him the best results.
