Rondu....

I take the 5.13 Fast to Andheri ...today its my turn to get the treats and I carry with me Veg Burgers and Mango Juice in tetrapacks.

Amar: Mota Bhai Kejri to gayo...(signals with his fingers ...screw dheela).. says AAP lost because of EVM fixing ..
Me: So now Congress is in the Dock ....because in Punjab ...Congress won by a landslide...
Akbar: No..no ..he says Akalis did it and cut a chunk of AAP votes....he forgets EVMs gave him 67 seats in Delhi ..
Me: Why didn't Akalis then go the whole hog and win..actually an Exit Poll ...which claimed to have had a very deep ...or Block Level sampling .....predicted near about the final results ...
Amar: Kejri and Maya refusing to look into reasons for AAP's and BSP's humiliating loss...
Antony: Maya .....challenging ...hold a repoll using Ballots ..
Me: Are elections a joke ...once she looses when Ballots are done ..she will demand ...International Poll Observers and Manpower ...and all Voting ....one to one interviews ...would take a year ..and cost a fortune...and still if she lost she'd blame the election process.....
Akbar: But even SC has said EVMs can be tampered with ...and suggested some additional safety measures..
Me: VVPAT was used in some Constituencies in Punjab...so the results can be verified...actually excuses of a sore loser..they'd cry foul even if there was a 100% foolproof system and they lost ..and by the way ...way back in 2009 EC had asked those saying EVMs can be fixed to 'educate' EC on the fixing..no one turned up..
Amar: Mota Bhai ...Kejri ordered his own Survey ..as per his orders the Seats were projected...as we have seen ...if Kejri's orders are flouted ....its Blasphemy...
Akbar: But frankly I had not expected BJP to sweep UP.....kuch toh gadd badd hai..
Amar: Miya ji you too afflicted with Kejritis.... just because results were not as per your expectations..so there is gadh badh..
Antony: Okay BJP won....now what!!!
Me: They will strive to give good Governance....make the Minorities get the feeling ..first hand.. of Sabb ka Saath sabb ka Vikaas..
Amar: Modi has said ...whether you voted for BJP or not ...now after elections does not matter ..all are UPites for BJP..
Akbar: But in Goa and Manipur .. BJP announced CMs so fast ..what about UP..
Me: You know the size of UP....one thing BJP knows...anti incumbency of State Governments usually sets in ...in about 2.5 years...and now BJP's next Mission is 2019...and UP has a record of switching State Governments every time....so a CM will be appointed who ...can deliver...
Amar: Mota Bhai... BJP Governments in most States defy this norm because of performance ...same will be case in UP...
Antony: Poor Rahul...why is he being blamed for the losses..
Me: Why don't you send him your list of Scapegoats ...
Antony: So handsome ...what a family background...so well travelled ..so softspoken..
Me: So incapable ... so disconnected ...so stubborn...so inexperienced... can you use the attributes you list Antony ji ...for a student who gets 0 in every Paper..

"Need for Chintan, Manthan by Congress veterans"

Congress's setbacks in assemblies' elections should be attributed to its total disconnect with the masses and ground realities. Outsourcing election campaign to a private advertising agency was ill-advised.Hightech publicity does not impress voters. They are intelligent enough to see through the game. Neither naïve nor gullible. Dynasty-centric old guards of the Congress , instead of serving as doormats to dynastic overlords , must stop cult-worship. This perpetuated authoritarianism, bereft of intra-party democracy. Absence of effective Opposition is not healthy in a democratic polity.
