What is the secret of N N Vohra ?

accordingly".

Tunday...
I'm at a iconic Dhaba on GT Road...sharing the table with a Businessman
from UP on his way to Punjab and a Retired Army Officer...its Dal Tadka
... Crisp Rotis...Salad... and Salted Lassi
UP Businessman: Have any of you tried Tunday Kebabs (on getting a negative
response from the Retired Fauji and me)... oddly its been made into
a Political issue ...now will the Nation's Policies be judged by gastronomic
priorities..and by the way I feel these are grossly overrated Kebabs....
Me: It's sad... Pseudos bring up the stupidest excuses to damn any Policy
this Government makes..maybe Pseudos tried to make this look like Dadri
...but it flopped....
UPB: You will be surprised to learn there is actually only ONE Legit
slaughter house in UP (as per Green Tribunal)....so for all you know
the Tunday Meat is unethically sourced!
Retired Fauji: Just one Legit Slaughter House....and during a road trip
from Lucknow to Kanpur I remember I had noticed many Refrigerated Container
Trucks ....the Hired Car Driver on my enquiring had told me these trucks
were ferrying meat ..unlicensed means no controls or quality checks...
M: So there is a huge clandestine business in Bones...linked to Sugar.....fat...
linked to cooking oil ...I even hear as its all hush-hush animals are
boiled alive so that the hides come off easily ...
LBM: Its the best kept secret of UP.... by the way Licensed Slaughter
Houses are supposed to maintain Video records. SP ..BSP just turned
face the other way and during their stints allowed the illegal Slaughter
Houses to thrive....
F: When in power they are a law unto themselves ..now see how this Sena
MP has behaved with an AI Staffer..
LBM: And the victim was 60 ...this MP must be in his 40s ...no respect
for age too ..
F: Sena as usual will brazen it out... they cannot afford to loose their
Gunda tag ..its their USP... Unique Scaring Proposition...
M: But see the trust Public has in Modi ...and their ability to communicate
with him.....the AI Staffer had warned the errant MP that he'd complain
to Modi....
RF: In fact this aggravated this errant MP more..
LBM: Blanket ban on this MP by Airlines from travelling on their Aircrafts...let
him use surface transport...
F: Knowing Sena they'd threaten and arm twist the Airlines and create
problems for Flights operating out of Mumbai..SOP...Standard Oppression
Pranks..
M: The Lal Bathi is actually in the psyche of those in power.
RF: And a Politician who forsakes the Lal Bathi is ridiculed by his
lot ...though he actually is able not only to perform his duties better
but incognito ..he's able to learn more about what all is going on..
M: Yup..like Punjab FM ...he refused Official Car and Security and was
able to film a Cop taking bribes ...khulam-khulla..but I am sure efforts
will be on to dissuade him from his pledge ...the mindset of those dissuading
would be ...Minister bann ke if you give up Security and Lal Bathi....its
like sparing the rod and spoiling the Voter ..they feel we respect them
for their nuisance value..more the nuisance more their value...

Non-receipt of RTI application sent by registered post
The RTI application was sent through Registered post and the same
was delivered in the respondent organization. However, the respondent
claimed that the RTI application was not received and hence, no
reply within the stipulated time could be provided to the appellant.
To ascertain the facts leading to the misplacement of the RTI
application filed by the appellant, the CIC directed the FAA,
Ministry of Home Affairs to inquire into the matter of the 'missing'
RTI application and to ascertain as to whether the RTI application
was actually misplaced or the CPIO had taken that plea to deny
information to the appellant. The FAA was directed to take appropriate
departmental action against the officers/officials responsible
for the misplacement of the RTI application, if required. A copy
of the inquiry report along with the action taken report was directed
to be provided to the Commission as well as to the appellant within
a period of six weeks. Further, a compensation of Rs. 2,500/-
was granted to the appellant. The CIC also observed that the First
Appellate Authority should give an opportunity of hearing to any
Appellant if the Appellant expressly wants to be heard.

of any Public Authority. Every Public Authority should strive
to maintain a system where the records are maintained in a manner
from where they can be retrieved in a timely manner.
