BJP now opposing 'Shrimant', term coined by its own veteran

Fauj ki Jai
I'm in Mussorie at a South Indian Eatery on The Mall. In walks a gentleman who even from a mile would look like a Fauji. As the eatery is full the Owner requests me if the Gentleman can take the other chair on the table for 2 that I am seated on. I readily accept.

Fauji: Please ...please .. sit down ( I got up as he was about to sit)...
Me: Sir you are a Fauji and this is the least I could do....
F: Wish there were more like you...this one act by you literally made me feel....losing my leg in a war...was worth it !! But sad to say when I read the newspapers or watch the News on TV...I feel so bad ...so unwanted!!
M: Yes Sir I know where you are pointing ...
F: What happens to Army's morale when some Indians sitting in Delhi call for Azaadi of Kashmir and also say they will seek revenge ...and then you get to see a hoard of students cheering them...some citizens siding with them ...or when these Leftists badmouth the Army ..
M: Sir I totally understand what you are saying ..around Republic Day...Twitter Logo had the Indian Flag ..a Commie Lady objected by tweeting ...Twitter should allow Indians to have their own embellishments...made my blood boil...she did not like what Twitter had done to honour our Republic Day...
F: I think we would be one of the rare Countries where a Army ..which is 100% in service of the Nation...which has no role in Politics ...which steps in to help out whenever there is a calamity...but which is damned by a few Indians ...and the rest take it in their stride...the heckling of this minority does not hurt us as much as the silence of majority of Indians..
M: For the people who you stand vigil ...fight...get injured or die...while we continue to live normal lives ...and one bloody idiotic Commie even said ...they are paid for doing so...
F: In Battle we forget about ourselves ...our near and dear...what matters to us is India ...in fact when someone joins the Armed Forces he or she ...agrees to die for the Nation....unwritten pledge ...however low the probabilities of this happening may be..but its a possibility ..
M: Sir ...thanklessness ...sheer thanklessness ...a Nation that does not respect its Faujis not only demoralizes the Fauj but also weakens itself...
F: And now in recent times this new disease ...Pseudo Secularists ...Civil Society...is rest of the Indian Society uncivil... simple folk are more patriotic ..have larger hearts ..can sacrifice a lot for a cause they believe in...
M: Sir I too am the son of a Fauji...speaking for Fauji families... Fauji kids change schools the most because of the transfers of their Fauji Dads ...in a way this makes us very adaptable in life ..but during schooling it is torturous..
F: Yes my kids faced this too....'broken schooling'..but I think the environment...makes them fighters too and ultimately all is fine..my Daughter joined the Army ...my Son is a Senior Analyst ....
M: Now the anti Fauj lot are playing up this issue about Sahayaks..Buddies..
F: These people cannot understand the bond between a Buddy and Officer... my Kids still address my Buddy ...who comes off and on to meet me.... as Uncle ..we are a part of each others lives ..
M: I recall my Dad's Buddy always used the loo in the Study ...wherever we went ..my Dad would never allow him to use the Servants loo ...once he did it and my Dad got to know and admonished him...'you are a fellow Soldier not my Servant'..
F: But there are few cases of mistreatment...recently one serving Officer brought his Sahayak or Buddy to caddy for him...and he got a earful from all of us .. all three retired Faujis..
M: Sir hats off..despite your injury ..you play golf..
F: My Golf handicap is 14 ...other than this I do not have any handicap.

I just applaud silently

Kargil as a weapon of "Counter Surgical Strike"?

Politics can go to any low levels in the name of freedom of speech, secularism or progressivism. Before Kargil martyrs are referred to "for profit", let these activists answer the question first: who was responsible for gross dereliction of duty in the Kargil sector for not knowing the movement of the Pakistan Army in the area till they had put their heavy guns and other artillery deep on our side without our veterans knowing about it? Was it a shepherd who brought the news to these officers? Was it a collaborative operation of the anti-national forces in collusion with their Pakistani friends to hit the first non-Congress government at the centre under Atal Behari Vajpayee ? Recall that the Defence Minister was George Fernandez, vilified for the coffin scandal manufactured by the opposition? After Kargil defeat, the hijacking of the IA flight was organized and the terrorist Hafiz Saaeed, arrested by brave officers, was got freed. Kargil, girl, rape and progressive rhetoric soaked in freedom of speech or tolerance sugar syrup, is perfect recipe to stoke hate campaign against the government, especially the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Talking "rape" so cheaply and women organizations jumping at it instantly creates doubts about their commitment to women safety because they did not organize any protest marches in Delhi on the brutal gang rape of a Kerala Cine actress recently. Why? Because it would have exposed the "left" involvement in the heinous crime. How can the "left" organize protests, rallies or candle marches against its own cadres in Kerala? In Kerala, you can't even pluck coconuts from your own courtyard without making payment to the union or its representative. How, then, can you be a successful actress in the highly paying profession like cinema? Campus politics is not new, but now it is wasting students' academic time, which is precious for them, unlike the deplorables desperately trying to stage a "counter surgical strike" and create dissensions in the Indian Army.
