UP polls to decide country's politics !
As always, polls in Uttar Pradesh are once again all set to to decide
country's politics.
Who is most powerful in RSS ?
Who is most powerful in RSS ? The answer to this question is that no
one is more powerful than the other in the RSS these days as everyone
thinks himself to be most powerful under Modi government.
Akhilesh Yadav has tremendous confidence
The alliance lead by Akhilesh Yadav may be able to form the government
in Uttar Pradesh or not, one thing which cannot be denied is that Akhilesh
has got tremendous confidence, rarely seen at this age, in the run up
to these elections. What could be the reason ?.
Tikaoo Prakash Singh Badal..
Heeding my Veggie Vendor's advise I gave buying fruits
the miss yesterday and today I land up in the Mandi to pick up my Gajrela
Carrots and buy Fruits.
Me: Heard your khopdi was very garam yesterday ......
Fruit Vendor: Eh Kejri noo Agra bhejo ....Delhi noo London banaaye ga...ya
teh Paagal hai ya awal darje da jhoota ...
M: Both...basically Jhoota ..but wonky to think we will accept his lies...he
is so proud of Delhi's Medical facilities under AAP...but when it came
to his own treatment spent lacs on his treatment in Bangalore ...and
Londoncomment may be aimed at Majority Minority ..they have a big presence
in London and the Mayor is a Muslim...Punjab wich kee haal hai!!
FV: Thakdi (Scales - Akali Dal or AD) teh Kamal will spring a surprise
..not do as badly as is being predicted...and heard..Amrinder has said
if Congress is to take support of AAP ..count him out from CM post...
Raje de hath wich jhadoo...how can this happen!!
M: I hear AAPians saying 4.5 lac calls were made by Indians in Australia
to family and friends pressing on them to vote for AAP..
FV: Duur deh dhol suhaavane... and then NRIs who live far away want
Punjabis, who live in Punjab, to vote as per their (NRIs) choice and
bear the brunt if choice is wrong ...isn't it so ironical.....Deras
will play a role this time.....Sukhbir was able to get all major Deras
on his side ...which means a sizeable vote in each Constituency assured
to AD...
M: But AAPians boast that Dera followers told their Leaders that they
would not follow this diktat..
FV: Then they know nothing about Deras ..how they communicate... 5 call
500 ...500 call 5000...5000 call 50000...and they are very proactive
in keeping tabs on followers ..if a Dera follower has a windfall ..he
will find Dera reps swarming on him like bees.. its all very well organized....because
Deras are not about enjoining followers with God but only with the Dera
...
M: What about the Panthic Vote....
FV: Some denting did take place ..but when you see Delhi results..the
denting would not be as is being estimated ... these Halqa Incharges
gave AD a very bad name..
M: Without a doubt ...in India ..power goes straight to the head...and
we Punjabis are as is it aggressive so power goes faster to our heads
....
M: What about Sidhu's impact...
FV: Sir ji .. Congress's antidote for AAPs two ...Maan and Ghoogi...
so Congress got Sidhu...AD did not need to ...because Badal Senior in
his indomitable style can use humour intelligently ...something the
Bhaands cannot do...Badal Senior's rustic humor is legendary.....
M: I hear Amrinder and Sidhu are still at loggerheads ...
FV: Don't know how Sidhu thinks he is CM material ...what will he write
on files ...Guru file pe yeh Confidential kyon hai chaapa....Zaraa batao
kya hai siyaapa....
M: Has the Akali BJP Government done work..
FV: Power.... Roads... Social Schemes ....in fact I feel... Akali BJP
always do a lot of work...but Punjabis fall for Congress's yarns ...then
Congress comes to power ...and tries to take credit for the work Akali
BJP have done....and do zilch...and then sick of them Punjabis vote
Akali BJP back to power...only last time they voted sensibly and gave
Amrinder a shock..
M: Like this time Congress AAP have made Punjab look like land of drugs
...you ask Punjabis and they say....my area is fine ...but I hear in
other places condition is very bad...
FV: Amrinder's hands shake ...Mann cannot walk straight ...Sidhu cannot
think straight ...inn sabh se achcha toh hai tried and tested Grand
Old Man of Punjab Badal Senior....

Steel Minister addresses 'Make in India-Make
in Steel' conference at Ludhiana (UPDATED)
The second round of regional conference titled on 'Make in India-Make
in Steel' and 'Doubling per capita Steel Consumption', organized by
Ministry of Steel, for Northern region was inaugurated by Union Steel
Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh in Ludhiana. The Minister of State
for Steel Vishnu Deo Sai, Dr Aruna Sharma, Secretary, Ministry of Steel,
Sunil Barthwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, P K Singh, Chairman,
SAIL, M Bhaduri, CMD, HSCL, Dr Sanak Mishra, Secretary General, Indian
Steel Association and representatives from private steel sector were
also present during the occasion. Considering the presence of industrial
hub including two-wheeler & cycle manufacturing, pipe and tubes,
re-rolling mills, engineering goods & equipments, strong farm based
economy and hilly terrains in North India, northern region assumes importance
for steel industry both in terms of production and consumption. Addressing
the conference, Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh said, "Northern
region accounts for 40% steel consumption and more ideas on steel demand
enhancement will be generated at the Ludhiana Conference. Domestic steel
industry, which contributes 2% to the GDP, has huge potential, but there
is need for diversification and innovation to generate demand in the
steel industry. The Indian steel industry has to become more competitive
and it has to benchmark the parameters for becoming a world-class steel
producer." The minister added that steel industry needs to compete
and fight with other industries supplying substitution materials for
steel. Chaudhary Birender Singh while outlining the unique qualities
of steel including life cycle cost, recyclability, reusability, strength
and durability said that, "Steel structures have a longer life
span, are low on maintenance and provide smart solutions as well. Steel
can be used for making bailey bridges, steel reinforced pavements, fre-fab
structures furniture etc. and it can also find usage in making food
storing silos, water pies for transporting drinking water and storing
it. These are safer options and will last longer." The minister
added that FCI has plans to construct 100 lakh tonne steel silos by
2020 and northern states can contribute largely to it. Chaudhary Birender
Singh praised the secondary steel industry in Northern states which
use scrap intensive steel making thus reducing coking coal dependence
and is also cost effective. He added that, "Steel industry's landscape
has undergone wide changes and more plants using melt and manufacture
technologies should come up."

PM's security was at stake in Varanasi
I almost held my breath for four to five hours on Prime Minister's road
shows in Varanasi on Saturday and specially on Sunday. Standing in the
vehicle for hours with massive crowds on all sides of him, with people
standing on the roof tops throwing garland and flowers even hurting
him. Security and the safety of the Prime minister amidst such a multitude
could be compromised. It was a relief when the show ended. Though our
Prime Minister revels in the adulation of masses such like shows should
best be avoided by him. The security agencies should be tough on that
since their job also becomes difficult and challenging in such situations.

for the misplacement of the RTI application, if required. A copy
of the inquiry report along with the action taken report was directed
to be provided to the Commission as well as to the appellant within
