Project Nazardari is a comprehensive CCTV mapping initiative by Malda District Police aimed at enhancing crime investigation and surveillance. It categorizes CCTVs into private, public, and police-controlled, mapping their locations and ownership for efficient access during investigations. Data from CCTVs is integrated with Google My Maps, allowing real-time monitoring and easy retrieval of footage. Regular reviews ensure cameras remain functional. Future enhancements include adding layers for crime-prone areas, AI-based analytics, live feed integration, and mobile app accessibility. The project significantly reduces investigation time, fosters public-police collaboration, and serves as a model for improved law enforcement efficiency.
