whispers in the corridors

The CGHS has recently updated its software for the better services but it has become a headache for beneficiaries as well as CGHS itself. The first reverse impact of the updated software is that maximum medicines, which were listed, Doctors finding it difficult to find the said medicine and recommend it are now delisted. Beneficiaries are not getting indent medicine in a prescribed 3 -4 days time. They have to wait at least for 10 - 15 days. It is because suppliers are also not able to check the order online. They are being given orders manually. Online appointment system is not working properly resulting in a huge rush at wellness centres. Beneficiaries outside Delhi- NCR are facing more trouble. They are facing problems in registrations, medicine and long queues. Will the ministry of health & family welfare pull the reins of the developer?
