In a major administrative reshuffle, 31 IAS officers have been given new responsibilities in Uttarakhand. Ashish Chauhan has been given the responsibility of CEO of UCADA, Director Sports and Youth Welfare, while Swati S Bhadauria has been made District Magistrate, Pauri. Similarly, Navneet Pandey takes over as Additional Secretary, Personnel; Manish Kumar as DM, Champawat; Saurabh Gaharwar as Managing Director SIDCUL and Director General Industries; Prateek Jain as DM, Rudraprayag; Meherban Singh Bisht as Additional Secretary, Energy, Cooperation and Director, UREDA; Prashant Kumar Arya as District Magistrate Uttarkashi; Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been relieved of the charge of Water Resources Department; Sachin Kurve is relieved of the responsibility of Secretary, Tourism and CEO Tourism Development Council; Secretary Finance Dilip Jawalkar and has been relieved of the charge of Cooperation and given additional responsibility of Water Resources Department; Dr B V R C Purushottam has been posted as Secretary, Cooperation Department; Secretary Public Works Department Dr Pankaj Pandey was relieved of additional charge of Labor Department; Secretary Panchayati Raj Chandresh Yadav was relieved of charge of Urban Area Development Agency and assigned the responsibility of Commissioner, Food; Secretary Finance Dr V Shanmugam was relieved of the responsibility of Director, Audit; Secretary Health Dr R Rajesh Kumar is relieved of charge of Irrigation and Minor Irrigation; Secretary, Social Welfare Department  Dr. Neeraj Khairwal has been given responsibility of Secretary, Language Department; Sridhar Babu Addanki has been appointed as Secretary, Social Welfare and Labor Department; Jugal Kishore Pant as Secretary, Irrigation and Minor Irrigation and Dhiraj Singh Garbyal was made Secretary, Tourism.
