NMDC’s revenue soars to 23% in its Q1 FY26 financial results (UPDATED)

NMDC, India's largest iron ore producer, today announced its Q1 FY26 financial results. In the first quarter of FY26, the company produced 11.99 MT, a significant increase of 30% from 9.19MT and sold 11.52 MT with a 14% y-o-y growth from 10.07 in the Q1 FY25. With these figures NMDC registered its best ever Q1 physical performance. On the financial front, the national miner registered robust Q1 FY26 numbers with the turnover reaching 6,634 Crores, increasing from 5,378 Crores in Q1 FY25. Profit Before Tax (PBT) has soared to Rs. 2,644 crore and EBITDA has grown to Rs. 2,777 Crores in the first quarter of FY26. The company has achieved a significant growth of 23% in turnover over CPLY. On this exceptional performance, Amitava Mukherjee, CMD NMDC said, “Iron ore is the backbone of India's steel industry, and as the country’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC is committed to meeting the nation's growing appetite for the mineral.
