Major reshuffle of IAS officers in UP

As many as 16 IAS officers have been given new responsibilities. Vijay Vishwas Pant has been made Divisional Commissioner, Lucknow, while Suhas LY, Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare, gets additional charge of DG, Youth Welfare and Sanjay Khatri joins as in-charge CEO, Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority. Similarly, Mrs Kinjal Singh has been appointed as Transport Commissioner; Ranjan Kumar has been relieved of the additional charge of PS, Food Safety and Drug Administration department and will continue to hold charge of PS, AYUSH & Food Safety and Drug Administration; Mrs Chetra V is posted as Director General, AYUSH; Mrs Kanchan Verma as Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue Council, UP; Mrs Monica Rani as in-charge Director General, School Education; Roshan Jacob as Secretary and Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration; Rajesh Kumar II as Director General, Tourism; Mrs Saumya Agarwal as Divisional Commissioner, Prayagraj; Mrs Anamika Singh as Divisional Commissioner, Bareilly; Mrs B Chandrakala as Secretary, Forest, Environment & Climate Change and CEO, UP Clean Air Management Project Authority; Mrs Aparna U, Secretary, Medical Education, will also hold charge of DG Medical Education; Mrs Manisha Trighatia has been given the responsibility of Secretary, Women Welfare & Child Development and Nutrition and Brijesh Narayan has been made Secretary, General Administration Department.
