India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, has announced its financial results for the Second quarter of FY 2025-26. The Corporation continues to maintain its performance across multiple business segments. During this quarter, ITDC achieved a turnover of ₹124.17 crore, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) at ₹24 crore. These figures demonstrate its upheld commitment to excellence, innovation and market responsiveness. This once again confirms the importance of operational efficiency across all Divisions including Hospitality, Air Travel, Events, Duty Free Operations and Capacity Building. ITDC’s adaptability to the ever-changing market dynamics and reliable Guest experience has been the hallmark of this journey. Commenting on the results, Ms Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, ITDC, said: “Our Q2 outcomes demonstrate the continued success of our efforts to add value to our bouquet of services while preserving the rich legacy and trust associated with ITDC. We are expanding tech and data-enabled transformation, improving customer experiences and building long-term travel-tourism-hospitality solutions that support India’s growth story. Our objective remains clear – to deliver consistent value and strive to enhance ITDC’s contribution to India's Tourism landscape.” ITDC is steering its growth through strategic investments in Sustainability, Digital Transformation and Enhanced Customer Engagement. Regular initiatives such as ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’, ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’, and other Compliance Programmes reinforce its Culture of Accountability, Transparency and Service excellence. With a strong focus on Digital transformation, the Corporation is gearing up to launch the advanced Ashok Travels & Tours portal, enhancing convenience and accessibility for customers. Simultaneously, ITDC is strengthening its R&D and new product development capabilities to unlock fresh revenue streams. By prioritising smarter resource utilisation across its diverse portfolio – encompassing hotels, tours & travel services, events and duty-free operations - ITDC aims to drive greater productivity, efficiency and sustainable growth in the years ahead.
