HURL wins best Film of the Year (2nd Prize) at FAI Annual Seminar 2025 (UPDATED)
Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) marked a proud and defining moment at the FAI Annual Seminar 2025 by securing the Best Film of the Year 2025 - 2nd Prize Award for its impactful film titled “आशा से आत्मनिर्भरता तक.” The prestigious recognition was announced during the Inaugural Session of the seminar, graced by the Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, the Chairman and Co-Chairman of FAI, and the Director General of FAI. Representing HURL at this eminent forum, Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL and Co-Chairman, FAI, delivered the Vote of Thanks, reflecting a clear vision and strong commitment towards strengthening India’s fertiliser ecosystem and advancing sustainable agricultural growth. Beyond the award, HURL played a central and influential role throughout the seminar. Dr. Mohanty chaired the high-impact Session IV: Futuristic Fertiliser Marketing, steering deliberations on next-generation logistics, innovative farmer engagement models, and the application of artificial intelligence in sustainable agriculture. He also held multiple high-level interactions and review meetings with industry leaders and key stakeholders, reinforcing HURL’s collaborative and future-oriented approach to sectoral growth.
The award-winning film “आশা से आत्मनिर्भरता तक” powerfully captures HURL’s journey of transformation and its contribution towards farmer empowerment, self-reliance, and the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The seminar concluded with the Valedictory Session, where Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty delivered the Vote of Thanks, bringing together the key deliberations of the three-day event. In his address, he underscored the spirit of collaboration, shared responsibility, and innovation that defined the seminar, while reaffirming the collective resolve of all stakeholders to build a greener, stronger, and more resilient future for Indian agriculture.
