RECPDCL handed over Velgaon Power Transmission Limited, an SPV formed for an Intra-State Transmission Project of Maharashtra, to M/s Ceigall India Limited. Ceigall India Limited emerged as the successful bidder through the TBCB process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of the transmission project on a Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The SPV was formally handed over by Shri Vijay Kulkarni, Senior General Manager & Head of Department (T&D), RECPDCL, to Dr. Sudhir Rao Hoshing, Whole-time Director, Ceigall India Limited, in the presence of senior officials of RECPDCL, Ceigall India Limited and Maharashtra STU. On the same day, RECPDCL also handed over Jejuri Hinjewadi Power Transmission Limited, another SPV for an Intra-State Transmission Project of Maharashtra, to M/s The Tata Power Company Limited. The Tata Power Company Limited was selected as the successful bidder through the TBCB process conducted by RECPDCL for development of the transmission project on a Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis.
