IAS Parth Jaiswal Targets 50% Drop in Maternal & Infant Mortality rate in Chhatarpur, MP

IAS Parth Jaiswal is a 2015 Batch Officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre and is currently posted as Collector of Chhatarpur, MP. With a large proportion of Chhatarpur’s population residing in rural areas, Jaiswal has placed maternal and child health central to his priority in the district.

“Our main target is to ensure that every pregnant woman completes all four antenatal check ups and to reduce the maternal and infant mortality rate in the district” He quoted

To achieve this,the district has launched a focused maternal health project aimed at universal coverage of all pregnant women.The initiative emphasizes overall care from conception until birth with timely registration,regular follow-ups of all four mandatory antenatal check-ups (ANCs) and close monitoring.

Additionally he has set an ambitious target to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates by 50 percent within the next six months.

IAS Parth Jaiswal is building a district that prioritises every pregnant woman ,ensures that mothers and babies receive proper care and are healthy.
