Banks transfer policy

Being scale 1 officer, I got transferred to Bhubaneswar region from Kolkata on June 2024 but till now we have not been transferred to our parent zone inspite of applying on spouse ground. It is very difficult to stay away from our children, spouse and parents who require us the most. Kindly arrange to send us back to our parent zone so that we can give our 100% best service to our organisation as well as take our personal life responsibilities.

Banks transfer policy

It is not possible for us being a women , and in the country like India, to ask our husbands to leave their business or jobs and shift with us to a new place. Our children life gets horrified just because of this transfer. We sacrifice our future and don’t take promotion just because of transfers, still we are transferred. We look after our in lawaa and to play a major part at home with families. Its getting impossible for us to surrive and be self dependent just because of transfers

Lateral transfer/Transfer far from place of residence must be stopped at least for those who are sacrificing their career or promotion due to their family. Female staff should be posted near to their home. Upto Scale III officers are providing customer service sitting front, so transfer to another linguistic region upto Scale III should be stopped.

I am also working in a psb , my first posting was 360km away from my native after 6 years of struggle I got home place transfer. Now only 2.5 years completed in my native, in april again they will transfer me to other circle  ie., minimum 500 km away from my native place. My son is only 2 years old no one is there for taking care of my son. Nowadays it is very very dangerous to trust care takers, so government will take proper decision on transfer policy to lady officers in psbs.

Transfer policy in UCO Bank is very unfair, every year they are bringing transfer policy, but human interference in the policy is very much. Those who actually deserves the transfer to their home state/zone are not getting transferred. Transfer policy/process should be automatic and should not be driven by the excessive human interference. In UCO bank employees who have completed two years of maximum service in North East India are not getting transferred to their home zone despite their repeated effort to apply for such transfer.

Current scenario, transfer and posting should not be thought as per century old policies and thought. In today's transparent world, working in own area may attract more bussiness and profits compared to in other area

Policy is such that one is bound to stay away from his family for whole life if wife is working in state govt departments considering position of leaves being granted in banks.

Government should make changes in transfer policy, when a staff from Karnataka transferred to Kerala how can you expect that he should speak Malyalam. It is easy task, transfers should be done within a state, His family will also suffer
