NLC: Forging strategic partnerships for a sustainable future (UPDATED)

NLC India Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with M/s National Power Training Institute (NPTI), a National Apex Body for Training in Power Sector under Ministry of Power on February 25, 2026 at Corporate Office of NLCIL, Neyveli as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility.

The MoU was signed by  Saravanabhavan A KR, Unit Head (Learning & Development), on behalf  NLCIL and Mrs SAmirthavalli, Director, on behalf NPTI in the august presence of Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resource), NLCIL, Jasper Rose I S, Executive Director (Mines & Services, Land), NLCIL,  Shri Pankaj Kumar, CGM/HR, NLCIL and Senior Officials of NLCIL & NPTI.

This collaboration between NLCIL & NPTI is to provide job oriented      Post-Diploma Course of one year duration in Power Plant Engineering to the Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of NLCIL and for the deserving, unemployed youth of Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu. This training program will pave way for the candidates to get employment opportunities in premier companies.

Both NLCIL and NPTI are leading National Organizations in their respective fields and are desirous of working together as a team to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, by creating employment opportunities for youth and addressing the industrial demand for a skilled workforce.
