South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) will host the three-day Coal India Medical Conference – CIMECON 2026 from 28 February to 2 March 2026 in Bilaspur. The national-level conference will witness participation from more than 250 medical professionals representing Coal India and all its subsidiary companies, along with eminent doctors from leading hospitals across the country.

The conference is being organized under the aegis of SECL in Bilaspur. This year’s theme, “Healthy Mines, Healthy Nation,” underscores the importance of strengthening healthcare systems in mining areas, enhancing occupational health and safety standards, and promoting preventive healthcare services for employees working in coalfields.

Renowned medical experts and subject specialists from across the country will deliver lectures on a wide range of contemporary topics, including occupational diseases, industrial health, emergency medical management, lifestyle-related disorders, mental health, and the expansion of modern medical facilities in mining regions.

One of the key highlights of CIMECON 2026 will be the presentation of research papers by doctors from various subsidiary companies of Coal India. These papers will showcase innovations, field studies, and best practices being adopted to improve healthcare delivery and medical services in mining areas.

The conference aims to strengthen knowledge exchange, coordination, and collaborative efforts within Coal India’s medical network to ensure better and more efficient healthcare services for employees and their families.
