Rajasthan CS reviews health facilities (UPDATED)

Rajasthan Chief Secretary V Srinivas on March 7 inspected several healthcare facilities in Jaipur, including an Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Malviya Nagar, a primary health centre at Beelwa, the sub-district hospital at Chaksu, and a sub-health centre at Aajmanagar. During the visit, he directed officials to strengthen screening for non-communicable diseases at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and improve maternal and child health services.

He also emphasized better referral systems, queue management, digitization, cleanliness, and effective coordination among health staff. Principal Secretary, Health, Gayatri Rathod said efforts are underway to upgrade infrastructure, ensure staff availability, and expand primary-level healthcare services. Senior officials from the National Health Mission and health Directorate accompanied the inspection.
