Media persons still waiting for 2026 MoD Press Card for renewal
Media persons who cover MoD are still waiting for their press card for the year 2026. The Ministry issues its own press card, because they do not honour the PIB card and every year the MoD renews the press cards.It is said that the Army security is reportedly raising new objections which were never raised earlier. March is coming to an end and media persons are waiting for their press cards to get renewed, which was supposed to be delivered in February. Sources said, they will not be able to distribute the cards before April. Without a valid press card media entry is not allowed in the MoD.
