CM Devendra Fadnavis praised officers of Pune ZP for building Jyoti Savitri International School at Khanawardi, Purandhar. The school was built on government land granted to Zilla Parishad, as a “philosophical living monument” to Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule. The school is unique in its PPP - constructed using CSR, DPDC and ZP Cess. It will be operated by a reputed organisation and would be a CBSE Board School. The school was conceptualised and initiated by Nashik Collector Ayush Prasad, construction continued under the tenures of Ramesh Chavhan and Santosh Patil, and completed by Gajanan Patil. Skill Labs was also included in the project. CM Devendra Fadnavis appreciated the officers of Pune ZP for successfully building the school and ensuring its runs without burden on public funds.
