C U Gaurishankar appointed as JS, MoEF&CC (UPDATED)
Chaudhari Uday Gaurishankar has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, for a combined tenure of five years upto June 23, 2026, by temporarily downgrading a vacant post of AS in the Ministry to JS level. He is a 2010 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre.
