Strengthening communities through healthcare and skill development, HURL Barauni inaugurated a newly established Multiskilling Centre at Chakballi and a state-of-the-art Health ATM at UPHC Sokhara, Barauni on 16th May 2026 under its CSR initiatives.
The programmes were inaugurated by Plant Head, Barauni in the presence of healthcare officials, local representatives, community members, and project stakeholders.
The Multiskilling Centre has been established with the objective of empowering local youth through industry-relevant vocational training programmes, benefiting around 875 beneficiaries and enhancing their employability for a self-reliant future.
Further strengthening healthcare accessibility, the newly installed Health ATM at UPHC Sokhara has been equipped with advanced digital diagnostic facilities capable of conducting multiple essential health check-ups within minutes, promoting preventive healthcare and early detection of health issues for the surrounding communities.
Addressing the gatherings, Plant Head, Barauni emphasized the importance of skill development and accessible technology-driven healthcare in today’s evolving landscape and reiterated HURL’s commitment towards inclusive growth, community welfare, and nation-building.
Both initiatives received enthusiastic participation and appreciation from local residents and dignitaries, reflecting HURL’s continued efforts towards creating sustainable social impact and improving the quality of life in the region.
