Ms. Deepa Chawla, who is presently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Office of Secretary (Security), under the Cabinet Secretariat for an overall tenure of five years up to December 28, 2028. She is an Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer.
