Nine IPS officers have been reshuffled in Bihar. Pankaj Kumar Raj has been appointed as IGP, SCRB, Patna and entrusted with the additional charge of IGP, Railway, Patna, while Mrs S Premlatha takes over as IGP, De-addiction and State Narcotics Control Bureau.

Sanjay Kumar, IGP, Special Branch, was assigned additional charge of IGP, Bihar Special Armed Police and Sudhir Kumar Porika is posted as DIGP, SCRB. Similarly, Kumar Gautam joins as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-5, Patna; Sushant Kumar Saroj gets the responsibility of DIGP, Anti-Terrorism Squad, Patna and will continue to hold additional charge of DIGP, Traffic. 

Deepak Ranjan is now DIGP, Anti-Dacoity, Crime Investigation Department, Patna. Manish Kumar Sinha is Commandant, Mounted Special Armed Police, Ara and Ajay Kumar has been shifted as Commandant, Special Security Group, Patna.
