Eight IAS officers assigned new responsibilities in Chhattisgarh (UPDATED)

Eight IAS officers have been assigned new responsibilities in Chhattisgarh. Rimijiyus Ekka, a 2011-batch IAS officer, will hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) alongside his current role as Director, Urban Administration and Development Department, while Gajendra Singh Thakur, CEO, Zila Panchayat Dhamtari, has been shifted as Deputy Secretary, Revenue, Disaster Management, and Rehabilitation Department. 

Similarly, Prateek Jain has been appointed as CEO, Zila Panchayat Korba; Jayant Nahata as CEO, Zila Panchayat Dhamtari; M Bhargav as CEO, Zila Panchayat Dantewada; Tanmay Khanna as CEO, Zila Panchayat Bastar; Durga Prasad Adhikari as CEO, Zila Panchayat, Rajnandgaon and Ms Suruchi Singh has been transferred from the post of CEO, Zila Panchayat Rajnandgaon, and appointed as Commissioner of the Bhilai Municipal Corporation.
