The Central Government has appointed Members of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, (SEAC) for the State of Odisha for a period of three years. They are: Dr Rabi Narayan Patra; Dr Chittaranjan Panda, Retired Chief Scientist and Head of Environment and Sustainability, Department of CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar; Dr. Ashok Kumar Sahu, Chief Scientist and Head, Mineral Processing Department, CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar; Professor  Himanshu Bhusan Sahu, Department of Mining Engineering National Institute of Technology, Rourkela;  Er. Fakir Mohan Panigrahi, Retired Superintending Engineer (Civil) Works Department, Odisha; Dr. Bijoy Kumar Satpathy, Visiting Scientist, IIT Bhubaneswar; Dr Kishore Chandra Sekhar Panigrahi, Reader, School of Biological Sciences, National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar; Jayant Kumar Das, IFoS, retired ex-Conservator of Forests and Dr Mrs Abanti Sahoo, Professor, Chemical Engineering Department, NIT, Rourkela. Besides, Member -Secretary, State Pollution Control Board, Odisha will be Member –Secretary of SEAC, Odisha.
