A K Lahoti new Chairman Railway Board-first time orders issued one week in advance
For the first time in the history of railways, orders of the new Chairman were issued one week in advance. Anil Kumar Lahoti, Member (Infrastructure), Railway Board, has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Railway Board with effect from January 1, 2023. He is a 1984 batch officer of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS). He is the brother former CJI R C Lahoti.
