Karnataka DGP abolishes colonial-era orderly system

Karnataka DGP, MA Salim (IPS-1993), who got a full one-year extension upto August 2027, has ordered for abolishing the colonial-era orderly practice. This helps in redirecting constables away from personal household tasks towards core policing responsibilities. Will other states follow?
