After 5 years, Russia-Ukriane war likely to end; Who will take the lead?

Recent talks between Russian President Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the SCO summit in Bishkek seems to be reaching a logical end. Just after that Indian EAM Dr S Jaishankar visited Ukraine and met with President Zeleneskyy in Kyiv. Now Zelensky on Friday proposed a temporary ceasefire with Russia.

In Bishkek Putin also had a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. And just after that President Trump dispatched US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to Kyiv and both will hold talks in Moscow on Saturday and Sunday. Trump suddenly became active in this direction and wants to take credit for the ceasefire. But as per indications Putin and Modi had a serious talk and if a five-year old war ends then the credit may go to India.
