CISF moves towards specialised cyber-security force
CISF signed two MoUs with IIT Kanpur covering a six-week residential cyber-security programme and a proposed Centre of Excellence in Drone & Anti-Drone Technology at CISF’s MPRTC, Behror. The cyber programme will train 40 CISF personnel per batch and cover critical infrastructure, digital forensics, AI/ML, deepfakes, IoT, cloud and operational technology.
CISF-IIT Kanpur collaboration will focus on UAV operations, drone forensics, counter-UAS systems, rogue-drone detection, RF, micro-Doppler detection and high-altitude operations. This is significant because CISF guard airports, nuclear installations, ports and other strategic infrastructure.
