DVC’s capacity building workshop ‘STRIVE-2026’ concludes

The two-day mega capacity-building workshop, STRIVE-2026, organized by DVC successfully concluded at the Newtown Convention Centre. Held on September 10 and 11, the intensive training program focused on critical administrative domains, including Vigilance, Disciplinary Proceedings, the recently updated Vigilance Manual 2026, the 11 Master Circulars, and Public Procurement. The workshop served as a major knowledge-sharing platform, drawing an impressive attendance of around 350 conferees each day. The workshop was inaugurated by the Chairman, Member (Tech.), Member Secretary, Member (Fin.), and CVO, DVC, along with Vigilance heads from different organizations. Senior officials and delegates from various organizations and from locations spanning the entire length and breadth of DVC participated in the workshop.

Technical sessions were conducted by three eminent experts: Mukesh Chaturvedi, Retd. Director, DoPT, who shared insights into Disciplinary Proceedings and administrative vigilance; Srinivas Malladi, DGM Co-ord & Secy to GM, South Central Railway, who explained updates in the Vigilance Manual 2026 and 11 Master Circulars; and Sanjay Aggarwal, PCMM, RCF, Kapurthala, who discussed Public Procurement guidelines, transparency and best practices. STRIVE-2026 aimed to strengthen regulatory knowledge, governance, transparency and efficiency. Interactive sessions helped delegates clarify procedural issues and improve compliance and decision-making.
