Ex-IAS Das is Chairperson of Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission

Retired 1992-batch AGMUT IAS officer Subhash Chandra Lal Das has been appointed Chairperson of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). Ajay Kumar Jain and Praveen Gupta were appointed members. The post of chairperson had reportedly been vacant since July 2025.

Earlier reports had indicated that Das is likely to be appointed as chief of Banks Board Bureau.
