No Americans offer to India for sale of F-35 Jet
Despite widespread speculation and growing defense ties between New Delhi and Washington, top defense sources have firmly clarified that the United States has not made any official offer to sell the fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets to the Indian Air Force.
Recent rumors suggested that the advanced stealth aircraft might be pitched to India as it seeks to modernize its aging combat fleet and bolster critical aerial capabilities. However, authoritative sources explicitly dismissed these claims, stating that no such dialogue or proposal has been initiated by the American side.
Currently, the country remains highly focused on developing its indigenous Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft program and procuring new multi-role fighters for the future.
