SC Forms High-Powered Committee to Probe Jantar Mantar Protest

The Supreme Court has constituted a five-member High-Powered Enquiry Committee to probe allegations of violence and excessive use of force during the student protests at Jantar Mantar and other locations. The committee will be chaired by former Supreme Court judge Justice R. Subhash Reddy. Members include former CBI Director Rishi Kumar Shukla, former Meghalaya DGP Dr L.R. Bishnoi, former Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Ravi Shankar Jha and former Delhi High Court judge Justice Shalinder Kaur.
