UPSC panel meets to clear 18 Rajasthan state officers promotion to IAS

The UPSC Selection Committee met at the Rajasthan Secretariat, Jaipur, to consider 18 IAS vacancies for promotion from the Rajasthan Administrative Service for the 2025 vacancy year. The unusual decision to hold the UPSC Selection Committee meeting in Jaipur rather than Delhi brought the long-pending RAS-to-IAS promotion process directly into the state Secretariat.
