Who will be CMD of ONGC?

Government has started the selection process and held interviews for appointment of a successor to Arun Kumar Singh, CMD, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The government has shortlisted seven candidates for the corporation’s top job. Among the contenders are Ranjit Rath, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Oil India Limited and Rajarshi Gupta, Managing Director of ONGC Videsh Limited.

Shortlisted include Vikram Saxena, Director, Technology and Field Services, and Satyam Kumar, Director for Strategy and Corporate Affairs (both ONGC) and Dulal Halder, Director, Operations at ONGC Videsh, Devendra Kumar, Director, Finance, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and SP Shrivastava, Director, Marketing, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) , Ranjit Rath, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Oil India Limited and Rajarshi Gupta, Managing Director of ONGC Videsh Limited.
