Who will succeed Somanathan as Cabinet Secretary ?

In case T V Somanathan   refuses  extension  then who will  succeed him ? . Bureaucratic circles say  presently Secretary  of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) S Krishnan is frontrunner to succeed Somanathan. He  is a 1989 batch IAS officer  of Tamil Nadu cadre.
