Some men see just a poster but some men see a plot behind it. Dr. GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, 2014 batch IPS officer, who is currently SSP Srinagar, belongs to the second category. A few Jaish-e-Mohammed posters appeared in Nowgam of J&K. He ordered a probe. What followed was not routine. It was revelation. From those posters unravelled a terror web, 2,900 kilograms of explosive, a chain of sleeper cells, and summarily, a plot meant to tear through India. Six gallantry awards already adorn his chest. Operation Mahadev bears his signature. But medals can’t measure what he did here to prevent cities from turning into smoke.  He didn’t just see paper on a wall but he saw the writing on it and acted before it became an epitaph. He is known for his strategic leadership and earlier, he held various important assignments across Kashmir valley.
