whispers in the corridors
A significant milestone was achieved today at the Art of Living International Center, Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth, Bengaluru, as Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) launched Project “SWASTHYA KIRAN”, a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening community healthcare in collaboration with the Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth (VVKI), Art of Living. In a historic moment for HURL, the organisation signed its first-ever CSR MoU with VVKI, formalising a shared commitment to improving public health infrastructure. The MoU was signed in the august presence of Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL, Br. Pragyachaitanya, VVKI, and representatives from both organisations. As part of this initiative, HURL is supporting the installation of a state-of-the-art CT Scanner at the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, Cuttack. With a committed CSR investment of ₹2.32 crore, the project aims to provide timely, accurate, and affordable diagnostic services to thousands of patients each year, especially those from underserved communities. During the visit, Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, MD, HURL, met Sri Ravi Shankar ji and sought his blessings for the initiative. The HURL delegation also visited the campus and witnessed the ongoing efforts towards holistic wellness, community upliftment, and integrative healthcare. Project “SWASTHYA KIRAN” reflects HURL’s unwavering commitment to accessible, inclusive, and sustainable healthcare, marking a new chapter in the company’s CSR journey—one that aims to touch lives and bring meaningful change to society.
