Six SP rank IPS officers get new responsibilities in Tamil Nadu (UPDATED)
Six SP rank IPS officers have been given new responsibilities in Tamil Nadu. Among them two officers have been promoted as SP. Dr C Madhan has been promoted to SP level and appointed as DCP, West, Tirunelveli City, while S Madhivanan will take charge as DCP, North, Madurai City following promotion. Besides, R Pandiarajan is shifted as SP/Commandant, TN Special Police II Battalion, Avadi; K Maheshwari as SP, TN Commando Force, Chennai; R Ponkarthik Kumar as DCP, Law and Order, Palliakarnai, Tambaram and A C Karthikeyan is now DCP, Law & Order, Adyar, Greater Chennai.
