Tenure of Sonal Misra extended (UPDATED)
Tenure of Ms Sonal V Misra, IG, CRPF, has been extended for a period of one year beyond December 20, 2025 in relaxation of the IPS tenure policy. Sonal Misra is also a member of the Supervisory Committee constituted by the Supreme Court to oversee CBI’s probe in Karur stampede.She is a 2000 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.
