Reshuffle of IPS officers in Punjab (UPDATED)
In a major reshuffle, as many as 22 IPS officers have been given new postings in Punjab. Naresh Kumar has been appointed as Special DGP, Punjab State Human Rights Commission while Amardeep Singh Rai is now SP, Public Grievance Division and Kaustubh Sharma was given the responsibility of ADGP, Human Rights. Similarly, Gulneet Khurana has been posted as DIG, Counter Intelligence. Bathinda; Amneet Kondal as DIG, Personnel and Social Media; Jyoti Yadav takes over as SSP, Bathinda; Maninder Singh will join as SSP, Rupnagar; Darpan Ahluwalia as SSP, Khanna; Ravjot Kaur Grewal as SSP, Vigilance Bureau; Amardeep Singh Rai will also hold charge of Public Grievance Division; Nilambari Jagdale as IG, Anti Narcotics Task Force and IG, Faridkot Range; Rajpal Singh as IG, Crime and PAP-2 Chandigarh; Snehdeep Sharma as DIG, Border Range Amritsar; Jasdev Singh Sidhu as DIG Security, Punjab Lok Bhawan; Dhruv Dahia, DIG Internal Security; Akhil Chaudhary as DIG, ANTF; Gurpreet Singh as DIG, CDO Patiala; Rupinder Singh as Additional Police Commissioner, Ludhiana; Sarbjeet Singh as DIG, Crime Bureau of Investigation; Harpreet Singh Jaggi as DIG, EOW, Vigilance Bureau and Rishabh Bhola was made Staff Officer to DGP.
