J&K IAS Re-Designations Following MHA Promotions: The Jammu & Kashmir
Government re-designated several IAS officers following promotions approved by MHA in December 2025 (effective January 1, 2026). This includes officers like Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and Prasanna Ramaswamy among 17 IAS officers of the 2010 AGMUT cadre promoted to Super Time Scale. The re-designations align with MHA’s cadre management.
